Richmond Roundabout
(53” x 65”)
(Pieced by Joyce Jones, machine quilted by Bev Dyke)
The same block design as Gentle Annie but the look is so different. Strong use of green and red plus a little yellow and black gives the quilt vibrancy. It definitely needed the inner scrap border. Another good way of combining scrap with yardage. The blocks are straight set with a small inner border of the background light to let it “float” before adding the outer borders.
